About this place
Detached cottages on a hilltop in Mitarbi, 10 km from Bakuriani. The Mitarbi lift is too far to walk, so you will want a car for the slopes. The smaller cottage is 40 m² and sleeps three: a bedroom with a double and a single bed, plus a sofa. A larger 70 m² cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps up to eight.
The kitchenette has a hob, a microwave, a toaster and a fridge, and there is a washing machine. The living room has a fireplace, and the host provides firewood. On site there is a sauna for an extra fee (bathrobes included), a barbecue and a terrace looking out over the forest and the mountains. You can order dinner and breakfast from the hosts, and guests rave about the home cooking and khachapuri. Dogs are welcome.
They suit a couple or a family who want quiet, a view and a sauna and are happy to drive to the slopes. Mobile signal is weak up here. The road uphill is narrow and unlit, hard going in winter without four-wheel drive, and taxis do not come out this far, though the host can drive you for a fee.
